Fiona Gould attended our club on 7 June to receive a cheque for $2,000.00 for her passionate cause to which she has volunteered her time over many years, of which about, 14 years we have supported.

Losing your hair can be one of the distressing side effects of having cancer treatment. The Centre has a wig library available on alternate Tuesday Mornings 9.30am-12.30pm at Liverpool CTC and 2pm-4pm at Macarthur CTC. Volunteers who are professional hairdressers can advise, fit wigs and turbans or hats. You will need to make an appointment if you wish to have a wig fitted.

Wigs are available for purchase at Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre for donation fee. You do not need to return your wig when your hair grows back.

At Liverpool wigs are available for loan for 6 months or so, or until your hair grows back, after which they should be returned. At present this loan is free of charge, because of donations from community fund raising groups such as Rotary and the Quota club, but we do ask for a small donation which helps us to replace wigs and update them as styles change. Turbans may then be purchased. Cnr Goulburn & Campbell Sts Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre

An appointment for the wig library can be made at the Cancer Therapy Centre reception either in person or by telephone. Liverpool: (02) 9828 5189. Campbelltown: (02) 4655 9669
