A Vocational Exchange Program to be run in April/May 2012 in Finland. Experience your vocation and the culture abroad.
For each team member, The Rotary Foundation provides the most economical round-trip air ticket between Sydney and Finland. Local Rotarians in the host district provide for meals, lodging, and group travel within their district. There are some expenses that need to be met by the team members. Team members cannot be Rotarians, or a lineal relation, but must be within their current profession for 2 or more years.
Expect 1 to 2 vocational visits a week. Team Presentations to Rotary clubs: during and after the event a part of the deal, as well as preparation with the team prior to travel.
Important Dates
Team Leader (Rotarian) Applications to District by Fri 29th July 2011
Team Members (x 4 non Rotarian) Applications to Club by Fri 19 Aug 2011, with club to forward application to District at a closing date soon after.
Team Members selection interviews held Sun 11 Sep 2011
The Exchange period is from 2nd April 2012 to 2nd May 2012
