THIS MEANS WAR - Movie 15 Feb 2012 - For Polio Eradication

By the time smallpox eradication began, smallpox had been eliminated in all but 31 countries, with fewer than 1 billion people living in endemic areas. In contrast, when polio eradication began in 1988, polio was endemic in over 125 countries, with over 4.5 billion people living in endemic areas. In addition to the much larger population, global transit increased dramatically. No country remains safe from Polio until it is eradicated. We call on your valour to join us in the trenches at Liverpool Events Cinema complex on Wed 15 Feb 2012 for: This Means War to help us immunise children and defeat a tenacious disease.
Inscriptions have commenced and battle plans are being drawn. A: 'Liverpool Chamber and six Rotary Club Event'
