Congratulations to all the recipients found deserving of recognition for their Pride and Workmanship and whose wonderful efforts improve our community and give us reason to celebrate. Under the Presidency of Ted Mlynarz, this year’s awards were convened by Vocational Services Director Jock Cimino in the presence of June Young as District Chair and Secretary Charles Hili as MC. We then thank those who had the fortitude to nominate such worthy recipients and to all who supported on the night. Special thanks to the Susan’s Group and Liverpool Catholic Club for raffle prizes respectively to the values of $300.00 and $200.00. Each recipient received a plaque and a meal entitlement including beverages for 2. We were once again well looked after by LCC’s Vicki Bono.

Her dedication towards her duties has ensured that a fledgling art supply business stays on the right track through its formative months of operation.

Mr Robert Mulas was nominated by Valerie Hili, Robert has been principal of Fairfield High School for 4 years. In this time, his leadership of the administrative and teaching staff along with the various managerial methods he employs has transformed the school from one of deficit to one of opportunity for the youth of Fairfield.

Pauline has a great work ethic, is always helpful especially when the going gets tough and in Allan’s own words is a just a great person to boot.
