Tickets are now available in this raffle which we are running in conjunction of the members of the Austral Bowling Club. Books of tickets were handed out at the last meeting and we have plenty more available. The proceeds of the raffle will go to meet the costs of providing equipment for a double leg amputee to enable him to continue to bowl, any surplus will then be used by the club for other projects.
Tickets cost $2 each or $20 for a book of 10.
The raffle will be drawn at 3:30 p.m. at Austral Bowling Club on Sunday 6 September 2009. The Bowling Club will be providing a Free Sausage Sizzle from midday, there will also be door prizes. It sounds like a good way to fill in a Sunday Afternoon.
