28 October 2009 – Annual Alec Muggleton Memorial Golf Day.
Keep pushing for sponsors and make this our biggest Golf Day.
This year the beneficiaries of the Golf Day will be the family of Jason Sanders, a young man who is currently in a chemical induced coma following a horrific motor vehicle accident on the way to work. We were approached by Jason’s employer to help raise funds for his wife and 2 children (One is autistic) to help them over this difficult time. The Company “Geoimage Services” has been regular and generous supporter of our Annual Children’s Circus and we welcomed the opportunity to partner with them for this benefit.
The event will be held at the Camden Valley Golf Resort with a 12 noon shotgun start. The course can handle 36 teams of 4 comfortably. It will be followed by presentations and a dinner from 5:30 pm.
We need sponsors, teams and donations of prizes for the day; these should be in sets of 4.
The concept is easy to sell, if you approach a non golfer suggest that they can sponsor a team and let their valued clients play in their team or they can reward staff with a game of golf – keep trying fellows.
