Vocational Service Director PP Peter Houghton Snr. Is looking for nominations from members and other members of our Community for this award. Objectives of the Award
- To promote Vocational Service.
- To encourage Pride of Workmanship in all vocations.
- To provide employers and others with an opportunity to recognize employees who display the qualities worthy of an Award.
- To encourage favourable employer/employee relationships and a sense of community pride in individual achievement.
- To provide an opportunity for Rotary to be involved in the community, particularly the business community.
- The Pride of Workmanship Program enables managers in our society to help employees achieve the goal of job satisfaction, and publicly recognize them for their efforts.
Nominees for the Pride of Workmanship Award will be presented with a trophy in recognition of their achievements at a dinner to be held at the Liverpool Catholic Club on Tuesday, 1 December 2009 – 6:30 for 7:00 p.m. Partners and Guests are welcome, the cost will be $25 per head + drinks – The nominees and 1 accompanying person will be guests of the club for the night.
Closing date for Nominations is 17 November 2009.
