Any books of tickets that members are holding should be returned with money (or unsold) as we are now approaching the closing date. We are running this raffle in conjunction of the members of the Austral Bowling Club.
The proceeds of the raffle will go to meet the costs of providing equipment for a double leg amputee to enable him to continue to bowl. Tickets cost $2 each or $20 for a book of 10.
The raffle will be drawn at 3:30 p.m. at Austral Bowling Club on Sunday 6 September 2009. The Bowling Club will be providing a Free Sausage Sizzle from midday, there will also be door prizes. It sounds like a good way to fill in a Sunday Afternoon.
