As this newsletter is dispatched about half of our contingent have already returned to their place of abode, the early arrivers are wending their way down the F3 with 2 million other cars. We still have some dedicated party goers who will be carrying on where others left off over the next few days.
The weekend has been a great success culminating in a Galah Dinner last night attended by 45 members, significant others, friends, children & grandchildren. Congratulations to John Gibbs for the effort he put into the whole expedition it has been greatly appreciated by all.
We should also thank those courageous soles who stayed behind to man the barricades at the Warwick Farm Markets BBQ – Peter Farrell, Peter Houghton, George Kristen, John Squillacoti and Rich Watts – making it possible for Les Still to escape for the weekend.
