Tonight we will welcome Ronnie or one of the Boards representatives to present them with some much needed funds;
As Members are aware, a 3rd portion of the funds raised on our Golf Day was committed to Oz Harvest. Shann O’Connell as our Community Services Director is happy to report that sum has materialized as $2,000.00. Shann also spoke with PDG Peter Lean, the current President of the Rotary Club of Liverpool, who immediately pledged to match that amount on behalf of the Rotary Club of Liverpool. PP John Williams is foreshadowed to represent the Rotary Club of Liverpool at our meeting tonight in place of PDG Peter Lean who otherwise cannot be with us. Our spies then tell us that the Oz Harvest cause is not only dear to the heart of our Shann O’Connell, but also to PDG Peter who is rumoured to have handed PP John Williams a trump card in the donations department. When John shows his hand, Oz Harvest will be the winner.
We look forward to being joined by John as well as PP Margaret and Robert Favelle of the Rotary Club of Cabramatta and President June Young of the Rotary Club of Liverpool Greenway.
