The second of the bi-monthly BBQ/Fundraisers took place on Sunday 21 November 2010.
Again the support and generosity of the community was overwhelming.
Donations exceeded $1800.00 while food and soft drink sales were over $600.00.
As the reigning "Master Chef" champion (Trudy) was unable to attend, the competition for the diamond studded gold-plated tongs will be held next time (6 February 2011).
A special thank you to all those who attended and helped with all the activities, also to those who wished us well and for being there: ‘in spirit’. Particularly the: "L" spirit. (Must have been lost, or drunk, by the express overnight courier, if it was ever sent)

PS - the new face is Dianne Huynh, who is a radiologist and has decided on a career change and is now studying to be a pharmacist.
