On 16 November 2011, The Rotary Club of Liverpool Greenway awarded a pride of workmanship award to Liverpool Catholic Club Catering Manager: Yohan Seneviratne on behalf of their club. While the Rotary Club of Liverpool West had the honour of awarding the same award to Yohan on the 27th of June 2006, we thank the Rotary Club of Liverpool Greenway for noting our clubs strong support for this award.
Yohan has been the main point of contact now for many functions catered at the club over the years including: ‘Police officer of the Year’, Combined Services Dinners, Disabled Children’s Christmas in July and others organised by Liverpool Greenway.
Through the Rotary Club of Liverpool West, we have organised the Group Study Exchange Dinners, Miller Achievement Award nights, Pride of Workmanship nights, Changeovers, many Partner’s nights, a BBQ Buffet after Mini Golf, Christmas themed Dinners, Seafood nights, many normal dinners and even birthday luncheon’s.
Just recently we have had the pleasure of organising the catering of Lunch for the Pets Multi district Seminar held on the 12th of March. Plans having gone array late in the piece were quickly resolved with Yohan using his insight to steer us down a new and successful path. Yohan of course organised the whole day for about 250 Rotarians with breakaway rooms, morning tea, afternoon lunch and dinner that night and organises hundreds of functions for others in any one year.
Yohan has had the responsibilities of negotiating all prizes and cost reductions that we have enjoyed over the years. The energies and talents of the always well intentioned Yohan have then been at the forefront of many a successful occasion enjoyed by the multitudes.
I have personally been dealing with Yohan to organise consecutive functions for the past 4 years and believe that what sets Yohan apart is his unmitigated resolve to look out for the client’s interest from inception and his ability to combine meticulous attention with an intricate perception of what is required.
We highly commend Yohan Seneviratne for the diligent and courteous nature and find him most deserving of this community recognition. We then thank the Rotary Club of Greenway for giving us the opportunity to show our continued appreciation.
