CLUB REVIEW
Last Week
Dr Nguyen, Hoang Can and Dr Tran, Huy Hoang from Saigon Eye Hospital were our special guests on that night and our satellite club transfer their lunch meeting to the evening. A number of Partners and friends then joined us including Jane Thompson & Louise Smith from Drug Arm, Margaret Favelle from Cabramatta club to promote ROMAC and Tony Ayoub as a guest of Geoff Gibbs for what was a great evening of friendship attended by about 38 persons. Apparently same is only a warm up for our return visit to the Satellite Club at the Bar Luck Restaurant on Tues 5 April.
Members reported that they enjoyed the conference; particularly the Saturday Rock N Roll night and member Ted Mlynarz won a 100 Mph trip plus around the Bathurst Circuit in a race car. While Ted was feeling a bit tinny, fortunately the car didn’t.
Kyrene Cabena couldn’t be with us on that night and sent her partner in to present on Wise Employment.
Wise Employment is a disability employment non for profit service funded by the government operating from 8 locations in the Sydney Metro area, 11 locations in Victoria and 3 in Tasmania. Their services are cost free, including training, post-placement support and information about wage subsidies. 2 million Australians of working age have a disability of some sort and research shows they take fewer days off, have less OHS problems and generally stay with their employer longer. They then reinvest surplus funds into projects that benefit the most marginalised in our community.

RYDA There are two days so far that the Liverpool Clubs need to man at Penrith Lakes Wednesday 6th April and Wednesday 11th May and 6 people are needed each time. Are there any members available to assist on either or both of these dates?
It seems impossible to get six from each of the Liverpool clubs which is why where possible requests have been made for two from each as this does not stretch the friendship. Please contact our Youth Director if you are available.
Youth Nominations Closing – Youth Services Director Bob Groat
Nominations for MUNA and RYPEN are requested by our board for Monday 11 April, with Alan Hall’s granddaughter attending RYPEN. More Information can be found on our web site under Youth Programs.

JOKES
MIRACULOUS
Paddy was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place.   Looking up to heaven he said, 'Lord take pity on me. If you find me a parking place I will go to Mass every Sunday for the rest of me life and give up me Irish whiskey!' Miraculously, a parking place appeared. Paddy looked up again and said, 'Never mind, I found one.'
BEST EVER SENIOR CITIZEN JOKE
A little silver-haired lady calls her neighbour and says, "Please come over here and help me.
I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started."
Her neighbour asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"
The little silver haired lady says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster."
Her neighbour decides to go over and help with the puzzle.
She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.
He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says,
"First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster."
He takes her hand and says, "Secondly, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then," he said with a deep sigh  ............"Let's put all the Corn Flakes back in the box."
GOD ENJOYS A GOOD LAUGH!
There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was BLACK:
1. He called everyone brother
2. He liked Gospel
3. He didn’t get a fair trial
3 equally good arguments that Jesus was JEWISH:
 1. He went into his Father's business
2. He lived at home until he was 33
3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure he was God
3 equally good arguments that Jesus was ITALIAN:
 1. He talked with his hands
2. He had wine with his meals
3. He used olive oil
But the most compelling arguments were that Jesus was a WOMAN:
1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was virtually no food.
2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn’t get it.
3. Even when he was dead, he had to get up because there was still work to do.
