Incoming President Ted Mlynarz and team to attend a full day district training session and seminar. The Incoming Board members may liaise with Ted.

Tues 3 May 2011 – the Gift of a Smile – Barbara Wall - LCC, 6 for 6.30 pm

Barbara Wall Rotary District 9690 Interplast Chairman will attend to speak at the Liverpool West Rotary club and tell members of the wonderful work that Interplast does in the Asian region.
Barb Wall is a member of the Rotary Club of Upper Blue Mountains Sunrise and an ex-squash Professional having turned professional in 1973, the first Australian woman to do so.

Presidents Peter & Julia look forward to the support of Members, Guests and Friends for a combined meeting of the Rotary Club of Liverpool West and the Inner Wheel Club of Liverpool Combined in receiving a presentation from Rita Borg and Tony Wood on behalf of the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service at Aromas on Tenth on which the occasion will be used by both clubs to show members appreciation of their services and provide funds to support their life saving operations.

Wed 11 May 2011 – Combined Services Dinner – Transfer of Meeting - LCC, 6.30 for 7 pm $40.00 pp

Annual combined community Service clubs night brings local Rotary, Lions, Quota and Inner Wheel Clubs together for networking and sharing of ideals. This year’s Special Guest speakers will be Paul Moulds OAM from the Salvation Army in charge of Youth & Welfare.  The night will mark the Launch of the Liverpool Red Shield Appeal and the raffle funds will go to the Appeal.  Our Club is then set to run the raffle on this night. Tues 24 May 2011 – Drug Arm & RYPEN Presentation – LCC, 6 for 6.30 pm

We have 4 Youths coming along to tell us about their experience at RYPEN & we have a large cheque for Drug Arm.

Sun 29 May 2011 – Red Shield Appeal – 9.00 am

We are usually based at All Saints Senior Catholic College at Leacock Lane, Casula and generally require a minimum of 8 Volunteers to drive groups of students to designated areas.

Tues 31 May 2011 – Miller College Awards Night – 6.30 for 7 pm, LCC Function Room 2.

Our 31st annual Awards night is a partners, guests and friends night. Nominees for outstanding achievement will be treated to a meal for themselves and a guest and will be presented with a plaque and a cheque for a $250.00, before unveiling the overall winner who will receive an additional $250.00 and have their name and faculty added to the honours list board on display at the College.

Tues 7 June 2011 – Finland Youth Exchange Student Henni Niemi – 6 for 6.30 pm, LCC

Our Youth Exchange Student Henni Niemi visiting from Finland makes her Final Presentation on the year that was before returning home on 20 June.
