Police Officer of the Year Committee for 2011 Required

Sent: Monday, 11 April 2011 8:20 PM To: combined Liverpool Rotary Clubs
Subject: POY 2011, Combined Service Dinner, Flood Relief Meeting.
Dear All
As it is now April and the POY2011 forms need to be available for nominations from 1st May to end of August, I am suggesting a meeting this Thursday evening (14 April) at 118 Kendall Drive, Casula. Phone Number: 9602 5204
As stated last year I will definitely not be staying on as Chair and Stephen Chensee will not be staying as Treasurer. While the nomination forms for the 1st run go out with last years sponsors it is now time to Have invitations for new sponsors *(and repeat sponsors) mailed out. We have a new commander at Liverpool Supt. King, who is a great community man, so we need to put this altogether for him. He knows all about the procedure. I have had emails from Deanne bounce back so do not know if she is Still at Liverpool. Have included Ben Radcliffe to follow up and check who will be the police rep from Liverpool this year.
The Committee is normally made up of outgoing Presidents, Incoming Presidents, Chair Treasurer and Secretary and members from the three Rotary Clubs.
At this same meeting I will give you the final run down of the Flood Relief dinner; money has now all been sent to the DG.
At the same time the Combined Service Club Dinner invitations have been mailed out and if anyone
Needs any information about this event, please bring your questions to the meeting.
I would ask that if you are able to attend or not, you could email me on jyoung43@bigpond.com.au
And confirm, as if we do not start for this year it will not happen. Sorry for the short notice of meeting
But April this year is so hectic.
Best wishes
June Young OAM
(The flood Appeal donation cheque was sent for $55,000.00 for which a quarter share of $13,750.00 was credited to our club.)
