For the last 9 years, the Rotary Club of Liverpool West has split the proceeds with Drug Arm that it receives from the annual fundraising event, built around ‘The Children’s Circus Spectacular’ which sees up to 14,000 children and or persons from disadvantaged groups attend free in April each year with the kind support of the Liverpool Catholic Club, who provide the grounds at no charge.

JOKES
Some Mothers
Three sons left home, went out on their own and prospered. Getting back together, they discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly Mother.
The first said, "I built a big house for our Mother." The second said, "I sent her a Mercedes with a driver." The third smiled and said, "I've got you both beat. You remember how Mom enjoyed reading the Bible? And you know she can't see very well any more. I sent her a remarkable parrot that recites the entire Bible. It took Elders in the church 12 years to teach him. He's one of a kind. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse, and the parrot recites it."
Soon thereafter, Mom sent out her letters of thanks: "Milton," she wrote one son, "the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I have to clean the whole house." "Gerald," she wrote to another, "I am too old to travel any more. I stay most of the time at home, so I rarely use the Mercedes. And the driver is so rude!" "Dearest Donald," she wrote to her third son, "you have the good sense to know what your Mother likes. The chicken was delicious!"
As it Happened
The Irish have solved their own fuel problems they imported 50 million tonnes of sand from the Arabs and they're going to drill for their own oil.
My mate's missus left him last Thursday, she said she was going out for a pint of milk and never came back!
I asked him how he was coping and he said, "Not bad, I've been using that powdered stuff."
The police came to my front door last night holding a picture of my wife.
They said, "Is this your wife, sir?"
Shocked, I answered, "Yes."
They said, "I'm afraid it looks like she's been hit by a bus."
I said, "I know, but she has a lovely personality."
Two Irishmen find a mirror in the road.
The first one picks it up and says, "Blow me down, Oi know this face but Oi can’t put a name to it."
The second picks it up and says, "Ye daft bastard, it's me!"
Paddy's in jail. The Guard looks in his cell and see's him hanging by his feet.
"What are you doing? "he asks.
"Hanging meself, "Paddy replies.
"It should be round your neck, "says the guard.
"Oi tried that, "says Paddy, "but Oi couldn't breathe."
Two Irishmen are hammering floorboards down in a house.
Paddy picks up a nail, realises it's upside down & throws it away.
He carries on doing this until Murphy says, "Why are ye throwing them away?"
"Because they're upside down, "says Paddy.
"You daft prat, "replies Murphy, "save 'em for the ceiling!!"
