Hi Everyone
A very, very, big thank you for everyone’s support! There were 19 attendees in total with 13 of them who were eligible to roll up their sleeves and give blood. We collectively saved 39 lives! That is a great effort especially during this Christmas period when supplies are low!

In 1985/86 Club Records tells us current Member Joe Cimino presented Certificates to 32 Schools in the Local Area. The records don't suggest when the awards were started however they are still well and alive today. New members George Germanos and John Pillay consider same to be a very worthwhile project as do many of the schools including Cartwright Public who also present a Perpetual Trophy and a plaque for this very award.

In this segment for our Bulletin, All club members are now centurions,Ryla nominations now 2, Science Experience nominees and for Christmas we have a response from Santa and Lawyers are remembered.
Our 2006/2007 Youth Exchange student from Germany is now a family man, 2011 Pride of Workmanship report, The Oz bound Finnish team, Police Officer of the Year Photos, The Rotary/VVP BBQ Talent Extravaganza with $4,834.35 in takings and the VVP 2011 mission report.

A wonderful letter received from Christopher Harnischmacher, our youth exchange Student in 2006/2007 from Germany. We called him Smithy and he saw more of the Australian Outback then most of us will get to see. His now a family man and setting his sights on his future.

The girls from Finland are coming here to play and will be hosted by 7 clubs from zone 4 during their stay. All 7 clubs are asked to transfer their meetings to Tuesday night 13 March for a Joint Presentation to be held at Hunts Comfort Inn with numbers requested by 28 February. Please see programme within.

The final BBQ for 2011 was held on 27 Nov, a “Beautiful Sunday”, after a week of heavy rain in Sydney cleared to greet the volunteers, talented performers and a jubilant crowd
Not only can Vietnam Vision repair sight, creation of visions such as a special surprise appearance by “Michael Jackson” is now on the cards. Fairfield Council now recognising these BBQ's as a regular Community Event and will be advertising the 2012 dates in the local paper

2011 saw the realization of a dream to expand the scope of charity work of VVP. For the first time, free dental treatments were provided for the poor. This dental program ran concurrently with the cataract surgery program and attracted a different set of volunteers into VVP – dentists and dental assistants.
