The weekly meeting of the club was held at the Bar Luck Restaurant Cabramatta commencing 1:00 pm.
 
Attended by: Dr Phouc Vo, Dr William Trinh, Mr Trung Chinh Dang, Mr Thuan Nguyen, Mr Duc Thang Chuong and Ted Mlynarz.
 
Apologies:     Le Duc Hong, Charles Hili, Joe Cauchi.
 
Matters arising from previous minutes:
 
- The matter of BBQ's to be held in Cabramatta was discussed, and it was suggested that they be initially conducted bi-monthly on Sundays with dates to be selected. Consultation with Fairfield Council to take place with Mr Trung Chunh Dang being nominated to approach council.
 
- Bali Eye Project and VVP in Cambodia and Laos were not discussed, however, will remain as items. These matters are regarded as long term projects and will continue as items of interest for resolution as further information becomes available.
 
New Items
 
- VVP Website - Dr Vo mentioned an opportunity to improve the website together with increasing exposure.
  A meeting to be held on Thursday 22 July 2010 will provide further information and advice.
 
- Information Exchange - with new members being inducted, communication information will be included in the Liverpool West files and a  meeting and function calender will be made available on a regular basis. Both clubs will exchange information to enable all members to be aware   of all activities and be able to nominate regarding attendance. Two functions nominated at this meeting are: Vietnam Veterans Fundraiser on 8 Oct 2010, and, the Lunar New Year Festival during February 2011. All rotarians to be invited with details to be provided.
 
- VVP Presentation Night - to be held at the Liverpool Catholic Club. Details to be confirmed.
 
(Note: during discussion on the Lunar New Year Festival discussion regarding Rotary members getting into the spirit of the occasions and wearing traditional Vietnamese "ao dai" (look it up on the internet) was suggested however, men should be aware that they will be required to don trousers beneath the garment.)
 

The meeting closed at around 2:00pm.
