This latest lockdown means that our rescheduled Changeover Dinner is cancelled.
We have a number of presentations that were to be made at this dinner, we will now look to scheduling a Member and Partners Dinner later in the year and we will invite these people along.
In the meantime, we will continue with Members ZOOM Meetings.

ZOOM Meetings July 2021
We have held a number of ZOOM meeting with between 14 and 16 members in attendance.
With everyone in lockdown there is not a lot to report.
Community Service Director, Tissa Perera is looking into a request from the Justice Advocacy Service for support from the Club.
Shiva Nandan has received a note of appreciation from Morgan who was awarded our Nursing Scholarship (see below).
He has also been contacted by Charles Sturt University in relation to the scholarships we are planning to offer in 2022, one of which will be funded by Precision Paper Coatings. He will discuss with the other fields we may offer the scholarship in such as Medicine (at the Orange Campus) and Education as well as nursing.
Treasurer reported that around 45% of Members have paid their Annual Fees at the point of time. He is also close to finalising a Card facility with Square Payments which will be able to be used at the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and other functions – once established other possible uses for the facility will be considered.
Rotary Club of Liverpool Greenway is holding the Liverpool Police Office of the Year Dinner on 7th September 2021 (COVID Restrictions permitting), If you wish to attend see details below.
Treasurer Gary Halliday reminded members that Annual Fees of $225 are now due. They can be paid by direct deposit to the Club’s Bank Account BSB 704 865 Account Number 7186594 (quoting Members Name as the Reference).

Love at First Sight
A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He has been checking her out since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her. Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket towards the man. He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and hands it back.
Oh my, I am so sorry, " the woman says as she pops her eye back in place. "Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you, " she says.
They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theatre followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens.
After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast. They had a wonderful, wonderful time.
The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings.
The guy is amazed!! Everything had been SO incredible!!!!
"You know, " he said, "you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet? "
"No, " she replies… "You just happened to catch my eye."
