On Tuesday, 6 August 2024, we held the Liverpool Police Officer of the Year Presentation Dinner at the Holiday Inn, Warwick Farm, recognising the outstanding dedication and service of the Members of the Liverpool City Police Command. The event was attended by around 180 people including Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun and Assistant Commissioner Brett McFadden the event was MC'd by Paul Martin.
Luke Exley was selected as the Liverpool Police Officer of the Year and will go on to the NSW Police Officer of the Year Awards later in the year.
We awarded Jake Cotton, a Police Legatee, an educational scholarship to help him further his studies.
In was a great night and thanks go to those who organised the event and especially to those businesses whose sponsorship made it possible.

The Men’s Health Education Rural Van is a regional project made possible by fundraising, generous sponsorship and time freely given by hundreds of Rotary Volunteers.
A custom built caravan with a dedicated Registered Nurse travels the state of New South Wales offering free health screenings to regional and rural men, who are notorious for being completely in the dark about the state of their health. The evidence of the value of this service is demonstrated by the following:
12,356 Men have been tested by the mherv project
5,891 Were found to be in need of treatment
441 Were in immediate danger of a stroke or heart attack
We are donating the net surplus of our Sausage Sizzle on Sunday, 4 August 2024 to this Rotary initiative.
Membership Fees for 2024/5 of $250 are now due!

COPS and KIDS Tag Football Competition
will be held on Wednesday, 18 September 2024 at Brown's Reserve,
First Avenue Hoxton Park from 9:30am to 1pm.
We will be catering at this event, providing some of the food.
FEED THE HOMELESS MARTIN PLACE
We will be in Martin Place on Monday 12 August 2024 distributing meals and clothing to those less fortunate.
We will be seeking commitments for this event at coming meetings
Tickets are $150 per person or $1500 for a table of 10
Come join us for a great night of live entertainment and dancing.
Help us raise money for National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), a great cause that has an effect on all of us in one way or another.
Dress Code: Pink Tie, think pink and loud.

If you are rostered to work and for any reason you are unable to attend it is your responsibility to arrange for someone to replace you and work your shift.
Tickets are $2 each,3 tickets for $5, 8 tickets for $10, or

We always have a good selection in wines for the major prizes and some other fun prizes.
