Harry acknowledged the support he had received from the 3 Liverpool Clubs for this work which included the provision of takeaway containers, donations and assistance in the kitchen,

It was an enjoyable night, with Members of the 3 Club able to catch up. Our thanks go to the Mounties Club and their staff for providing a COVID Safe environment for us to hold this meeting and to the staff from "The Oven" who did an excellent job with the catering on their first night of operation following the renovations to the Bistro.

ANNUAL PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP AWARDS

The Rotary Club of Liverpool West will hold Pride of Workmanship Awards on Tuesday 27th October 2020.

Each year the club calls for nominations from the community of people who give that little extra in the performance of their jobs, it may be that little bit of extra help to customers, it might be for pride in their jobs. Nominees are invited to attend a presentation night with their partners and receive the award.

The Pride of Workmanship Awards are designed: -
  • To provide Rotarians and employers with an opportunity to recognise employees who display qualities worthy of this award.
  • To encourage favourable workplace relationships.
  • To instil a sense of pride in individual achievement.

The Club encourages members, local businesses and community members to consider nominating a local person who is a committed and enthusiastic employee or a local individual, who they feel, displays    "Pride in their Workmanship”.

The Pride of Workmanship Awards are NOT a competition and there are no winners or losers.  It is recognition by a Rotarian or employer of an individual’s achievement, commitment and ability to inspire his/her fellow employees or customers.

Vocational Service Director Russell Soedjadi distributed nomination forms to members and has more available. Nominations close on 6th October 2020.

Liverpool Club who also has this program has been invited to join us on and have a joint function.

Partners and friends are also invited - the cost will be $35 for a 2-course meal and there will be a cash bar,
